Can you tell us about your education and sports background?
First of all, hello. I am Dilan Aslan, I am trying to take my education life and football together. Since the university I am currently studying at is not in the same province as the club I am in, I experience most of the difficulties of this situation. Although I am a senior, I try to take care of my remaining lessons in my other semesters.
My football life started in secondary school in the school team and then I got my first license in Kayseri Women's Football Club thanks to my physical education teacher. After 8 years in Kayseri, my first transfer was Fenerbahçe club. After playing in Fenerbahçe for one season, I played in Karadeniz Ereğli and then Asian Sports Club. I am currently wearing a jersey at Çatalca Municipality Sports Club.
You have been playing on women's football teams in different cities for 9 years. How do you think the interest and support of women's football in these regions has changed over the years?
I can't say it has changed exactly, but it varies from city to city. The perspective is a little better in cities where there are more developed and more clubs, but in small cities that are not familiar with women's football, the perspective of "do women play football?" unfortunately continues.
What experience and experiences did you gain in these teams with the support of whom?
I have seen many contributions from all the teams and teachers I have worked with so far, both in the spiritual sense and in the tactical sense. I tried to take advantage of their knowledge and experience, and they provided me with full support under all circumstances as they could.
What were the differences of playing in Fenerbahçe compared to other teams, can you tell us about that period and your achievements?
Fenerbahçe, a big-rooted club, had professionalism in every sense. Most amenities and conditions were better available. At that time, I made many unforgettable memories and friendships. It was very proud to be in the camp we entered before and after the Galatasaray derby and to be in the first women's derby in Turkey.
Fenerbahçe taught me to be disciplined, to look more professional, and at the same time made a great contribution to me in terms of development. After the experiences I gained there, I am still on my way with the gains Fenerbahçe has made in the teams I play.
Can you tell us a little about the corporate culture of your current Çatalca Belediyespor team?
Çatalca Belediyespor has always been a team aiming for Superliga since its establishment. A team that strives to add success to its success by jumping the league every season. I think I will add a lot to myself here. Everyone in the club, especially the Mayor, is a great supporter of women's football.
What position do you play for and what are your skills that make you special for that position?
My main position is the pre-liberal, but I can work in most positions that our teachers deem appropriate. The reason why I can work in most positions is my game vision, my defensive attitude, and my endurance at the same time.
In your opinion, what are the general problems of female football players in Turkey, what are your solution suggestions?
I can say that they do not think of football professionally, it is seen as an additional job due to its financial inadequacy, and accordingly, football players do not attach importance to their own development such as individual training, etc.
