How did you start playing football? What was the biggest factor that led you to this sport?
I started playing football at a young age. I grew up in the neighborhood and my peers were all boys. I was playing with them monthly, playing matches. Afterwards, I continued to play with boys in inter-class tournaments. Seeing this, my physical education teachers decided to establish a women's futsal team. We discovered ourselves with Kocaeli Women's Football Club Technical Manager Hasan Hodja, who saw us at the futsal matches and liked us.
What does Kocaeli Women's Football Club mean to you? What did you learn most during your years at this club?
I feel very lucky to have grown up in Kocaeli. If you ask about our grandmother, when we first started, we had older sisters who are now playing in big teams, and we were trying to take them as an example at that time. Apart from the fact that it is my hometown, my loyalty to this club still continues. I experienced respect, love, ambition and struggle here. At the same time, I played for the national team for the first time in Kocaeli.
What was your experience like playing in different clubs and adapting to new cities and teams?
I played in Istanbul and various eastern teams. If the environment in the team is nice, the city feels so nice to you. I am a somewhat talkative and fun person. That's why it's not hard for me to get used to a new team :)
How did your transfer to Fatih Vatan Spor change your career? What were the most important experiences you had there?
Fatih Vatan Sports Club was my first transfer. I made many good memories there. At the same time, I gained a lot of experience. The most important thing is that friendship ends with those whose benefits end.
How did playing in different clubs such as Gaziantep Asya Spor and Amed Sportif Activities affect your playing style and understanding of football?
Actually, my playing style hasn't changed much. Of course, every coach has a different playing style. We are shaped according to their wishes. But most of them like the playmaker of the defenders anyway, so I didn't have much difficulty.
When you transferred to Şırnak Women's Sports, what was the biggest thing that this new team brought to you?
I went to the Şırnak women's team with great promises. It was a complete disappointment for me.
How did the new era at Anadolu Güç Spor begin for you? What are your goals here?
We started this season very well. Our teachers, managers and teammates have created a very nice family atmosphere here. I'm happy. We are preparing for the Play-Offs. Our goal from the very beginning is to become champions and advance to the 2nd League.
How is your rapport with your teammates? How does the club structure differ from your previous clubs?
The team atmosphere is good, we are always together on and off the field. The club is in a new formation, we can say that it is in the process of recovery, and compared to many clubs, it is a club that really gives importance and effort to athletes.
Which clubs do you dream of playing for in the future? Do you have any thoughts of playing in a league outside Türkiye?
Actually I can't answer this. I played abroad and it was a little difficult to get used to those sides. I would like to play in better conditions in Türkiye
Which match impressed you the most while playing for the U-17 National Team and why?
Poland match… There was a serious difference between Poland and us. They were higher than us in terms of ranking. But what was done to us on the field before the match and what their coach said to Necla coach made us very ambitious before the match. Everyone left no room on the field and we won 2-0. This was the match that impressed me the most.
Could you share the development of the goal you scored for the national team in the 32nd minute in the 3-3 home match against Russia and the emotions it created in you?
Yes, I scored a goal from a corner in the Russia match. It was a very emotional moment for me. It was my first goal in the national team jersey and I can't even describe it.
What were the emotions you experienced in the match where you beat Moldova with 4 goals as a team in the European Championship Qualifiers?
We achieved good scores in the European championship qualifiers and we really wanted to beat Moldova and get out of the group. There was a very nice atmosphere on the field because we had secured it, and everyone was crying with joy at that moment.
What kind of responsibility and motivation does wearing the national team jersey give you?
It's a completely different feeling. It was truly an honor to sing the national anthem abroad and wear that coat of arms.
What advice would you like to give to young female football players?
My advice is to never give up and work hard. Everyone who works gets rewarded for their labor
If you were to describe your football life in one word, what would that word be? From where?
Love, because I am a person in love with football.
If you collected the experiences you have gained in all the clubs you have played so far in a book, what would be the name of your book?
Don't give up even if you fall.
