Of course. Let me start with my name; Cansu İRİŞ, I am 23 years old, I am from Konya.
What was the force that pushed you to football?
Actually there was no power. It was a talent I had since childhood. My family's good attitude towards me making use of this talent.
How many years have you been playing active football? Can you tell us about the difficulties and successes you experienced while playing licensed football?
The period I have been playing football under license must be ten years. I have been actively playing ball since I can run for as long as I can remember. There was never a time when I experienced much difficulty. I have experience in football in all leagues in Turkey. As a success, I came second in Türkiye in the Youth Championship. I have many matches for my age and my goal rate is quite high.
Apart from football training, do you do any special work to improve yourself?
Yes. I try to read as many books as possible. Additionally, I deal with financial matters. I constantly do individual training regarding football training to improve myself.
Do you support the thesis that the problems of women football players in Türkiye can only be solved by establishing platforms where women football clubs and women football players have a single voice, otherwise this is not an issue that TFF can solve alone, or do you have a different idea?
I can only say that justice is the basis of property. When they look at fairness and equality, they can make a difference in women's football.
What contributions would you make as a volunteer to an organization that defends the rights of Female Football Players in Türkiye and represents them in the best possible way on every platform?
Frankly, I don't have much to contribute. Because what is most needed in this country is a change of opinion and a change of perspective. I hope everything will be fine in the next 2 years.
