Hello Beatriz. First of all, can you tell us about your football background in Brazil?
I started training at the age of 9 at a school for goalkeepers in my city. At age 10 I received my first call-up to the Brazilian under-15 women's national team, at 13 I left home to play in another state and have always lived away ever since. I have been in clubs such as Santos, Botafogo RJ and my last club was Avai Kinderman, where I was able to enter the Brazilian Championship professionally.
How did you adapt to Türkiye, what would you like to say about the city of Antep?
Even after a few months, I'm still adjusting because it's a country with a completely different culture than mine. I love the city of Gaziantep because it has everything I need close to me.
What interests you about goalkeeping?
I have always been a goalkeeper, the richness of positions when the ball approaches the goal, the complexity in front of the goal and the high tempo make me love this job.
Do you think goalkeepers in the world deserve their place?
I think how hard we work and how we behave when mistakes occur that are not ours are important for goalkeepers to be recognized and praised even more.
What are your greatest strengths?
My strengths are not giving up on what I want and always working harder to improve every day.
