Hello Ariadna. Can you tell us about your start in football?
At the age of 14, I started playing in a neighborhood club called CAVI (Cirgen Inmaculada Athletic Club), I played for a year and we competed in the league. Then they saw me from San Lorenzo de Almagro and invited me to play with them for 3 years. AFA and that's when my football career started.
Argentina is a country that produces world-famous football players in men's football. So, what is the situation in women's football, what are the opportunities offered to female football players?
There is still a lot to improve in women's football, we need more support and professionalism.
You are both a futsal and football player. Which league and teams have you played in so far? Can you tell us a little about your experiences?
Speaking from experience, there are women's clubs that act more professionally than others, I was playing for a club in the AFA where I signed my first professional contract and I didn't have a lot of time, they didn't pay me on time. I had no place to train and other things took priority. Now I can say the opposite and everything is going well for me. I am in a club that cares about women, gives us a daily salary and a pension (a place to live), provides high motivation opportunities before matches, gives us snacks immediately after training and more...
My Futsal Experiences:
• I played for 3 years in San Lorenzo De Almagro (AFA, category A).
• 2 years in the first Avellaneda Futsal (AFA, category B).
• I spent 1 year at Club Atlanta (AFA, category C)
• And I'm currently playing in Asturia (AFA, category B)
My Football Experiences:
• Played for 1 year at Sportivo Italiano (AFA, category C)
• I played for 1 year in Deportivo Español (AFA Category A)
• And currently I play for Camioneros (AFA, category B)
If you have experience with the National Team, can you tell us about your experiences here?
I was pre-selected for the Argentinian Futsal Team and it was a truly unique experience. Even if I don't continue now, it was one of the best things football could give me.
What position do you play and what characteristics make you special for this position?
If we talk about football, I can adapt very well to various positions. Although I am generally an attacking player, I am also quite capable of assisting the midfield and advanced defense depending on the positional richness. In Futsal, I am a very effective player on the wings.
Can you explain with a few examples how you stay motivated before and during a match and how you maintain your composure in important positions?
I motivate myself by how I work throughout the week, I idealize my style of play and manifest all kinds of moves or if I want to score a goal, I think about it, imagine it, ask (I also get motivated by watching myself in videos because my only idol is myself. I also have a style that likes to fight for my dreams, where nothing is impossible with effort, discipline and perseverance. It is very important for me to be mentally strong for the ups and downs of every day).
If you do extra individual training to prevent injuries during matches, can you tell us a little about this?
Due to a minor injury I sustained 2 seasons ago, I make it a principle to work regularly as an individual. As my physical trainer stated, I take very good care of myself with kinesiology and training.
There are big teams in Türkiye such as Beşiktaş, Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe. Do you follow these teams and Turkish Women's Football?
I don't follow those teams, but since I have no idea and now that I learned their names from you, I will be aware of them and follow them from now on. I learn new teams every day and because I love watching football, I start watching their matches. This feels more feminine to me.
What would be your conditions if you received a transfer offer from Türkiye?
First of all, professionalism, in this situation I think I deserve it as a player.
